2014 Bracken Bower Prize Winner Gets a Book Deal

In 2014 The Financial Times and McKinsey introduced the Bracken Bower Prize, a 15,000 prize that goes to the best business book proposal from a writer under 35. The award went to World Economic Forum senior director Saadia Zahidi, and just announced was that Nation Books has bought the rights to publish Zahidi's book.

The book is about the 40 million women across the Muslim World who have entered the workforce in the last decade alone, telling the stories of the remarkable women—from McDonald's workers to software technicians—who are at the forefront of this revolution, and revealing how they will permanently reshape their countries' economies and societies.
