We’re Hiring: Production & Fulfillment Specialist
Our founder and former president, Jack Covert, started our company in Milwaukee’s iconic Harry W. Schwartz Bookshops. And, up until a few short years ago, we were located in the central office of those bookshops on the third floor of the Phoenix Building in the Third Ward neighborhood of Milwaukee. Pallets of books surrounded us, tucked into every corner and spread across multiple floors, and the bulk bookselling business grew and grew.
We started customizing books on a ping pong table next to the break room, and the business grew and grew and grew, until we outgrew the old offices. Now we go to work every day in a much larger office, with a real warehouse, that gives us more room to store the books that we customize and plenty of space for teams of folks to assemble and package our mailings. And that’s where we need some help now to continue growing!
We are looking for a full-time, hourly Production & Fulfillment Specialist to join Michael, our Project Development Director, in executing all production aspects of our customized book mailings. Candidates should be organized, be detail- and process-oriented, enjoy solving problems, and driven by the thrill of a well-executed project.
