Clarity: Without a Vision, You Are Stuck.

Bill, is the COO of a midsize production company. His boss, Tom, the CEO, is very concerned about the lack of growth and profitability under Bill over the last couple of years. Tom has given him a 60 day deadline to turn things around. As with most organizations, there is a push for results but a lack of CLARITY on where we are going and what we are trying to achieve. There is also some confusion on what we are responsible for and accountable for in our current position. As Bill takes on the challenge he quickly discovers the lack of CLARITY across all parts of the organization. No one is communicating. No one is really looking at the metrics and results, or lack of results, in the business. It seems as if all departments and managers are siloed and working independently of the rest of the organization. If he is going to save his job and turn things around he is going to need to quickly begin to understand the problems and make adjustments.
