About Jennifer Skyman

Jennifer Skyman was born in the San Francisco Medical Center in 1972. At the age of 15, her life seemed to take a terrible turn. Her mother lost her life in a disastrous accident on the dark road she took every day to return home from work. The anger for that red light not respected tormented Jennifer every night. She stopped eating. She stopped drinking. In one year, she was hospitalized 3 times near her home. All this seemed not to interest Jennifer. On a rainy day, while setting up her room, she found an object that made her suddenly understand her mission in life. She found a dusty book of recipes from various countries written by her mother. She immediately set to work. Today Jennifer is the mother of two beautiful daughters of 15 and 17 years old with whom she shares her enormous passion for recipes from all over the world. She graduated with top marks in Food Science and Gastronomy at the University of San Francisco. Her mission is to make people as passionate about cooking as her mother was, and she is succeeding with the publication of books that are now considered pillars in this field.
