About Vernice Armour

Vernice Armour is a decorated naval aviator, Camp Pendleton Female Athlete of the Year, and Strongest Warrior Award winner. Armour flew the AH-1W SuperCobra attack helicopter in the 2003 invasion of Iraq and served two tours in Operation Iraqi Freedom. Armour was the first African American female naval aviator in the Marine Corps.
